IDEAL 5560 LT Hydraulic Stack Cutter with EASY-CUT

The IDEAL 5560 LT is a professional hydraulic stack cutter for the most demanding applications – equipped with air tables on the front and back for particularly comfortable and material-friendly operation. Its generous cutting length of 550 mm and robust construction make this model the ideal solution for high-volume printing plants, finishing departments, and in-house printing areas.
The air table significantly reduces friction when moving heavy stacks of paper and facilitates positioning on the cutting table – a noticeable advantage for productive work. The proven EASY-CUT cutting release allows for safe two-handed operation. The blade and press bar are hydraulically driven, the pressing pressure is infinitely adjustable and can be precisely read via a manometer. A foot pedal assists pre-pressing or serves as a cutting indicator.
Operation is via a 7" touchpad with a multilingual interface. Up to 99 programs, each with 99 steps, can be stored here – including chain measurement, direct input, and ejection functions. An integrated calculator and fixed-size memory for DIN formats enhance efficiency. The electronic handwheel allows for precise manual adjustments of the backgauge in 1/10 mm increments.
Safety is paramount: An IR light barrier on the front table, a closed rear table cover, a blade stop, 24-volt control, and tool-free blade changes with a covered cutting edge are all part of the comprehensive SCS – Safety Cutting System. The system is complemented by an optical LED cutting indicator, LED table lighting, and machine self-diagnostics.
