IDEAL 5255 Electronically controlled stack cutter

The IDEAL 5255 is a high-performance, electronically controlled stack cutter with a cutting length of 520 mm – ideal for formats up to DIN A3+ and high cutting volumes. Designed for professional users in print finishing, copy shops, and corporate print shops, it combines precision, safety, and productivity at the highest level.
The patented EASY-CUT controls ensure comfortable, ergonomic two-stage cutting. The backgauge is electrically controlled via a touchpad, offering intuitive operation in multiple languages ​​and a digital measurement display (cm/inch) with 1/10 mm accuracy. Up to 99 programs, each with 99 steps, can be saved – ideal for repetitive cutting tasks.
Features also include pre-programmed DIN formats, freely definable memory keys, an integrated calculator, and the EJECT function. The electronic handwheel allows for manual fine adjustments of the saddle position – steplessly from fast to precise. The blades and press bars operate electromechanically, with automatic return after each cut.
Safety is paramount: The SCS – Safety Cutting System protects the machine with a transparent safety device on the front table, a rear safety cover, a main switch, a lock, a 24-volt control, and a disc brake for immediate blade stop. Blade changes are tool-free and safe, thanks to a device with a covered cutting edge.
Made from a robust, all-metal construction, the IDEAL 5255 is designed for long-term use under heavy loads. With a standard base, paper tray, tool holder, and stacking brackets, it is ready for immediate use – sustainably produced in Germany.
