IDEAL 4855 Electrically operated stack cutter

The IDEAL 4855 is a powerful, electrically operated stack cutter for demanding cutting tasks up to DIN A3+. Equipped with state-of-the-art control technology, it offers precise, safe and convenient operation – ideal for copy shops, prepress departments or in-house printing areas with regularly changing cutting jobs.
The central control element is the touchpad for operating the electric backgauge. The program control allows for the storage of up to 99 programs, each with 99 steps – including chain dimensions, direct input, eject function, and preset DIN formats. Fine adjustments are made via the electronic handwheel with progressive control in 1/10 mm increments. This ensures that even demanding cutting tasks can be executed precisely and reproducibly.
The patented EASY-CUT two-stage operating elements ensure ergonomic and safe cutting. Automatic pressure applies even pressure to the material being cut, while the electromechanical blade drive guarantees a clean cut at cutting heights of up to 80 mm. The optical cutting line indicator with LED light strip provides additional support for precise positioning.
The SCS – Safety Cutting System includes an electronically monitored, transparent safety device on the front table, a cover on the rear table, a main switch with lock, a 24-volt control, as well as automatic return and external blade depth adjustment. Blade changes are simple, safe, and require no opening of the housing thanks to the integrated blade changing device with a covered cutting edge.
