The IDEAL 4850 is a high-quality, electric paper cutter with automatic clamping for professional applications up to DIN A3+. With a cutting length of 475 mm and an impressive cutting height of up to 80 mm, it processes even large stacks of paper effortlessly and precisely. The patented EASY-CUT controls enable ergonomic, safe two-handed cutting with two pressure points. Thanks to automatic clamping, the paper is reliably fixed – regardless of material or stack height.
Maximum safety is ensured by the comprehensive SCS – Safety Cutting System: An electronically monitored, swiveling safety device on the front table, the transparent rear table cover, the main switch, a 24-volt control and the automatic return of the knife and press bar complete the safety concept.
The backgauge is precisely positioned via a hand crank and a precision spindle, supported by a digital display directly on the front table, which can be switched between centimeters and inches. The optical cutting line indicator with bright LEDs shows the exact planned cutting line – for reliable results.
The blade can be conveniently changed from the front using a special device with a covered cutting edge. The cutting strip can be changed from the side without having to access the cutting area.
